Further sanding required?

Hi guys,

I have a room where it looks like someone has covered some holes in the plasterboard walls with some sort of filler of, but done a poor job of it.

I have already tried sanding the "bumps" by hand with some sandpaper, and all it seems to have done is made the bumps really smooth.

Anyway, I was just wondering what I can do about it, if anything?

You need to sand with a sanding block (Bit of wood or cork or whatever)

Try an 80 grit paper.
