Just been reading up on the Spaceship One that won the X-prize, Apparently the rocket motor runs on a mixture of Car Tyres and Laughing gas!
Now if they can get that to work on yer common car we'll all be tearing up the motorway at twice the speed of sound, that'll get the cameras flashing

So will a cheap foil covered propeller on a stick spinning in the wind mounted before camera, preferably at night !! .. Who told me that ?

Of course, the reason they are using rubber and nitrous is due to the recent fuel price hikes in the US... did you know that petrol is now $1.993 per US gallon?! Poor dears. That is equivalent to 29.2 pence per litre at today's exchange rate.
