Gable verge pointing

Doing fascias and guttering and tried getting the Eaves trays on....just crumbled like fudge.

I'll be filling in the gaps as I'm a DIY'er.

Is there a particular method to removing tiles (shown) to get eaves trays on? feels like buddy hard work to get them off at the moment. I'm working at garage roof height so not able to just put them at my feet.

Are you considering dry verge roof line end cap

I was intending on patching up, I went in a bit ham fisted on the first tile here and it manifested.

On the dry verge option I am looking into this and on how to install these on existing tiles and I am not sure it will work based on the battens only running up to the end of the fascia.
