Gainsbourgh Energy2000X Shower Tripping Out

Hi, I have a gainsbourgh engery2000X shower, has been professional installed for over a year. It has just started tripping out this week, will work fine on low setting at any heat, but trips RCD every time on medium and high settings. Any ideas, new shower?? or RCD problem??

More likely there is a problem with the shower

my 10p wager is that the high-heat element has broken down and water has got inside it

start saving up for a new shower unit

if you feel like it you can isolate the old one and have a look inside, but it is unlikely to be economically repairable.
