my mum has the above shower in her flat. it still works, the 'overheat/increase flow' isn't coming on, however it's becoming increasingly noisy (buzzing sound that increases/decreases in volume during operation) am I right in thinking it's likely to be the solenoid that needs replaced?
if so, is this something I could tackle myself in terms of replacing the part? also, is it just the 'solenoid valve assembly' that should be replaced or do you also replace the 'flow valve assembly' to do a belt & braces fix?
or is it not always the solenoid that's the problem?
here's the shower, it's part 9 (and possibly 8?) that I'm thinking about replacing.
