Galvanised railings

Bought some second-hand railings
They are in pretty good condition with the odd bit of flaky paint which i will rub down .
Can any one recommended a good primer ( if required?? ) and paint for Galvanised railings.

Many suppliers of water based paints will insist that their paints are best.

If this is a simple touch up job, you could just use a special metals primer - Fortress make this, available from B&Queue.
