Hi,
There is a gap about 10ft long in my friends living room ceiling, its about 3-4mm wide in places and there is also a slight step in the middle of that 10ft run where the two slabs are meeting.

What's the best way to fill that gap?

Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to work out what you typed that got auto-corrected to "bison", but my imagination has failed me.

Photos might help. Obvious but unhelpful answer is "filler".

Hello, no, it is bison or what ever they call them now. Concrete slabs, instead of flooring joists they are concrete slabs butted together. The ceiling was skimed as normal but now there is a small gap of about 3 mm wide down along the joint. Thanks for looking.

Yes, filler of some sort is right but what kind? and would something need to be applied to the ceiling first like a sealer or something.
Thank you.
