I have just removed the coving from my living room but there is a gap of approx 10mm between plasterboard on wall and the ceiling. Can I just plaster this whilst I do the rest of the wall or will it need something else?

Hshould be taped and filled to prevent cracking.

skim will crack. i’d use toupret filler .build it up in stages. top stuff
