I have fitted my shower today, but i realise i have made a mistake. I should have fitted the shower bar before tiling.

I am not changing it and it will be ok for my needs.

Any idea what i do with this void ? Do i just fill it up with silicone ? Could i cut some tile to size and fix them in place in the gap ?

    Any ideas ?

Maybe, but behind the covers do they have the nut and olive ?

Also do these brackets screw into the wall so are secure ?

I would look at making a thick plastic block up, to fill that gap, with a recess bored for the brass nuts.

It would work, whether as silicon sealer on its own would not.
