I'm doing some garden work and have recently dug away the soil in front of the airbricks so the soil level is below the airbricks and damp course
If you look at the first image, you will see a gap between the foundation and the brick to the left of the airbrick. This gap has kind of worried me a bit as I feel my house isn't resting on any foundations.
I have compared measurements from the window sill to the airbrick both in and outside the house and it would appear that the airbrick sits below skirting board level and so I assume this is solely facilitating air circulation below floor level?
Is there any real cause for concern?
