having spend what seems like an age sanding down our old floor ready for applying polyx oil, we appear to have some tiny gaps between the blocks. is it realy work filling these in and what would be the best product, have ready plenty about using second sandings with PVA, but am a little bothered by discolouring the blocks, we have test a samll area using a light ronseal filled mixed with second sandings. Again took ages to sand down.

any comments most welcome.

What we normally use is lecol7500, mixed with sand-dust from the second sanding.

You could 'plaster' the whole floor with the mix, that normally fills in all tiny gaps to give you a very smooth result.
Sand the floor again with grit 120, vacuum clean thoroughly and apply your finish (oil needs a 120 last sanding, varnish a 150 grit sanding).
