I am looking at converting a standalone brick and flint garage into a 2 bed holiday let.
One of the questions I have is the insulation of the existing concrete floor. I was looking to install a damp proof membrane, 50mm of insulation board and then 22mm chip board floor before carpeting. I have a low ceiling so am looking to save space if possible. The two questions I have are; the best options to run services under the floor and is 50mm insulation enough?
What would your suggestions comments be please?
