Garage door and DPC

Hello,

I'm planning on cutting and installing a PVC-U french door into the side of my garage.
The wall is single skin, the door is 1190mm wide.
Is it ok to sit the door directly onto the DPC or do I need to leave a row of bricks between the DPC and the door.

Sit in on a bed of mortar, on the DPC.
