Hi everyone. Im building a new garage where the top of slab is at external ground level, i have a dpm under the slab, one question is how do i link this with the wall dpc without an unsightly dpm all around the bottom of the walls? Also i have sloping 225x50 sloping roof joists @ 400c/c supported on wallplates on single leaf blockwork, what is the best way to fix the joists to the wallplate, truss clips? If so to every one?

cheers

trim it off with a knife when you're finished

single brick garage?.........lay one brick and then normal strip dpc...ie. one course up no need to link for a garage  Most gge. slabs have no membrane anyway

cheers guys appreciated, on the other question about holding down, would holding down straps to every second joist suffice? and just lay the wallplate on a bed of mortar?

cheers
