Moved in to the house 3 years ago and we were told that there was some damage. I swept the sand out and was greeted with this. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. There was once a tree positioned outside the garage so i am thinking that it is root damage...the tree has been reduced to a stump, not sure if the neighbour used any treatment but there are nails in the stump.

As you can see from the image, the stump is still sprouting branches

i need to sort the floor out but unsure where to start....

Please help

Start with a Hilti breaker and break it all up.
Then- lay a new floor -with more that 2'' of concrete (which is what it looks like it has now). .
I Guess your garage is the one on the left ?. Compliments to whoever did the roor /ridge. Wouldn't surprise me if he got paid for it !!. Top notch job . .
A tree didnt do that damage-- - The damaged is caused by a 'chancer'.
Dont worry- It really is easily sorted.

Many thanks for your reply. I am aware that the garage needs some more work other than the floor! you shouldve seen the conservatory before we had it "fixed"! apparently the previous owner did the work, he was under the impression that he was a tradesman according to my neighbours!

If you need to find a tradesperson to get your job done, please try our local search below, or if you are doing it yourself you can find suppliers local to you.
