Hi all,
A few years ago I insulated my garage walls and ceiling - timber stud walls build around 50mm away from brick walls with celotex between and plasterboard over the top etc.
At the time the garage was being used as a home gym so I left the concrete floor as it was and just put down rubber matting.
If I now want to insulate the concrete floor would it be ok to just run a dmp sheet up to the stud walls / plasterboard?
Or will this cause problems due to there not being any dpm on the 50mm floor gap between the back of the stud wall and the brick wall and the 12mm gap between where the dpm sheet would finish at the face of the plaster board and the current dpc strips under the stud walls.
If the above is not a good idea do I have any other options other than taking all the stud walls down and starting from scratch.
