Having sorted the house and finished (I think) the conservatory I am sorting out the tip known as the garage.

The concerete floor is dusty all the time and am aware this can be hardened to stop the dusting.

I would like some of these fancy PVC loose lay tiles but don't fancy the bill and the cheapest I have found is around £800! (Garage is 5.2m x 5.2m)

Don't want ceramic as they will chip and also not cheap

Am considering vinyl tiles but what do I need to do first?

Treat the concrete to stop the dusting?
Thin coat of self levelling for a smooth surface (there are some defects)
Tile

Any other suggestions??

The garage is normally used for storage of the wife's car and as a DIY workshop.

Seal it with a concrete sealer and paint the floor with a floor paint.
