A section of roof felt (Around 9/10ft ) on our Garage roof has come away from the wall.

It is underneath the soffet and luckily there has only been a small area where a bit of water has come through, there have been no leaks in the Garage, a bit of a water stain in one small area.

Is it possible to reattach this to the wall without taking the soffets off and if so what would I use to do this?

Someone has suggested cutting away the bit that has come away from the wall and patching it with Flashband.

TIA

OP,
As long as there's no ponding against the upstand then the leak should be fixable.
Why not get a small container of SBR and paint it on the wall behind the upstand, and on the back of the upstand - also let it trickle down behind the upstand, it might pick up & seal any small split(s)?

Where felt meets abutments there should be a small length of scotia to ease the 90degree transition from flat to vertical. But too late for you - so for now, Just "glue" the upstand back.
