My house (built in 92) has an integral garage. I just noticed that there are a couple of vertical cracks on the interior wall of the garage. Some of the cracks are very thin (nearly invisible, hairline), two of them are wider and around 0.5 mm wide. I don't know how long they have been there. I wonder if it is normal and should it be a concern? I think the garage wall is made of Aerated Concrete Blocks, similar to this:

Thanks in advance for any reply.

do you mean 5mm 0.5cm!!! if so keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse or comes and goes with the weather

if it is realy 0.5mm hang a pinny or something over it till you get round to decorating
