I am installing 2 single sockets in the garden and some garden lighting. The length of run from the house C.U to the furthest socket is 80 mtrs. Biggest output on this socket 2.7kw,jet washer. Lighting is being tapped to a radio receiver, output only 1000 watts tops.Main supply coming from main C.U is going to be 16A feeding a 2 way C.U. 16a for sockets and 6a for lights. What would be the best size cable for this installation taking into account the length of run and demand.

First of all, there is no discrimination in your circuit.

Second, your lighting (1000W) does not leave much room for any expansion.

6mm gives you a volt drop of 9.34V, which is too close for me. I'd suggest 10mm2 SWA, but as Spark says, your ideas so far suggest you need to gain more knowledge before attempting such work, especially given this is notifiable.
