Evening all,

I'm in the process of building a couple of brick rasied beds in the back garden. Each will be 3metres by 1metre, and I am putting 10" (250mm) wide by 4" (100mm) foundations in - it will be a single skin wall.

For the mix, what is best? Can I use an All-In ballast (such as from B&Q) and just mix that with cement, or would I still need to add sand aswell? Also, any idea of quantities?

Many thanks in advance

Dave

Excellent - I was hoping I could do it like that! Thanks very much!

Would it be feasable to mix manually, or given it's a total of 8m length should I be looking at a mixer hire? Doing one at a time due to too many weeds... lol
