Hi, I'm looing to build a single skin dividing garden wall 1m in height, with double skin support columns at regular intervals of around 1.6m in height.
I'm building right up to my boundary, so some of the footing will need to extend into my neighbour's land, and I'm trying to determine how much so I can discuss with them.
Is a 300mm wide foundation for the single skin section wide enough (100mm onto their land), and 400mm for the supports (i.e 100mm excess all around the wall)?
Also, is 450mm concrete foundation deep enough?
Are there any regualtions aroud this that I could refer to?
Thanks
