GARMIN Street Pilot 2610 - help!!!

Hi all

Trying to navigate my way around the above satnav - what a headache!

Has anyone any words of encouragement or advice that might help - it has almost gone through the window several times! The logic defeats me at the moment - perhaps I need someone from a younger generation to help set it up

sorry but with out stating the obvious do you have the user manual ?

My honest opinion is take it back and get tomtom, I've seen and used both on several occasions and each time I've had nothing but hassle with Garmin.
I use tomtom on a daily basis (on a PDA not a standalone but the program itself is basically the same) dead easy to setup.

Yes user manual present and well read but it doesn't help at all. It's almost like talking a foreign language!
