gas fired back boilers

is it possible for me to add a radiator to my heating system. the water (hot and central heating) is heated via a gas fired backboiler

kevplumb-i cannot find a header tank for the system? how do i drain down and refill the system?(have read note at top of page ;)

try the loft or the airing cupboard if you only have one tank then you have a primatic cylinder
now if above is true it gets tricky cos you need to calculate the system volume plus the new rad you are proposing so it dosent blow the air bubble

technical over basic way to drain system turn off water look around rads see if you can find a drain point(tap with square head and ridges on spout)att hose turn square with spanner and put kettle on

after tea start opening radiator bleed valveonce no water from hose youve drained it :D
