Gas Hob replacement

Want to replace our Gas Hob. 20 Year old one has few problems and Mrs Mc wants it replaced.

Understand that I should not install myself. Even if it looks very simple. Not worth the risk.
Most likely will order with installation service.

Wondering about the installer removing the old one.
Is it likely to come out without damaging the laminate worktop?
I can see clamps underneath. Are they also siliconed in? Would make sense to avoid spills, etc.

Current one is connected with solid copper from a valve in the cupboard below it.

Yes, should be ok. Sometimes fitted with a bead of silicone/foam strip/putty like seal.
