Hello All

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, but here goes.

My gas meter is situated in the corner of my living room in a small cupboard & when there is demand for gas (hot water, heating etc) the meter makes a pulsing sound, almost like a diaphragm sound. Now I just had a Worcester engineer round the other day to look at my boiler & he said that it does not sound normal & that I should get it looked at.

I was just wondering what you guys thought of this as it has done it for the last couple of years that I have lived here without any obvious problems?

Noisy meter usually indicates wear and when a meter wears it usually allows a bit more gas through than is being registered so is in the customers favour.
But if it gets excessively noisy you can call NG out to check it
