Can't say I do know the up to date rules to be honest. All I remember is my old cooker, which had a gas hob and built in oven, was hard piped to the hob and a flexible rubber pipe to the oven to allow servicing. Apologies if I have given wrong advice.

Can't say I do know the up to date rules to be honest. All I remember is my old cooker, which had a gas hob and built in oven, was hard piped to the hob and a flexible rubber pipe to the oven to allow servicing. Apologies if I have given wrong advice.
It will be cheaper if you can find one person qualified to tackle both jobs as one, but do check they are genuinely Gas Safe registered.
My understanding is that whether or not a flexible is allowed to be used to feed a hob, depends upon the manufacturer of the hobs advice - some allow flexible some do not.
