Hi all,

I was digging some foundations at the front of the house and found what appears to be the gas valve for the house. (Photos attached)

obviously this would need to be moved, any ideas who I’d need to contact?

or if anyone has any other ideas then I’m all ears.

thank you.

Your Gas Transporter, an example is Cadent, and you might not be able to get it moved, or may cost £750 upwards.

So let’s say worse case scenario, it can’t be moved. Is there anything we can do in regards to the foundation?

Guessing you’re not allowed a service chamber inside the house like you can with drainage manholes?

I wouldn’t have thought so,as it belongs to the Transporter. Looking at it again, it appears to be a blanking plug, so just talk to your Transporter, they’ll have the best solution for you.
