I need to hang a pair of gate hinges onto concrete block wall.
The original fixings were screws direct into the concrete (no plugs),and not very secure after only a year's use.
It is a small (ish) gate but quite heavy.

I was thinking of using 10mm x 70mm Stainless Coach Screws into plastic plugs.

Any better suggestions ?

The advice I got here at the time was very useful. I used those bolts.
I got the maximum length ones from Screwfix that hold up to 70mm.
My post was 80mm so I drilled a bigger hole in it about 15mm deep to countersink the bolt, then drilled the hole for the bolt.
I didn't have a drill bit large enough for the wall, so gradually wiggled the drill round the hole until it was the perfect fit.

One thing, I wouldn't put the 3 bolts all down the middle of the post, I'd offset one or two slightly. If they're all directly in the middle the post is more likely to "rock" over time.
