Can anyone advise please?
I’ve bought a house that has a Gazco fire installed.
The gas supply has been removed and capped. The meter has been removed.
I would like to remove the fire carefully to sell on.
I have the installation manual which I am reading etc.
If I read it correctly the front will come off, remove the internal coals etc
Remove the fire clay panels
The manual mentions fixing screws, which I will remove.
The flue exits through the wall of the building.
Does the flue separate from the main fire when attempting to pull it from the recess?
Or does the flue need to pass through the outside wall back through the recess complete with fire?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
