Hi
I am looking to purchase a free standing Gel Fire like this one:
I am planning to stand it in a studwork fake chimney breast aperture like this:
I am wondering how I need to line the aperture in which the fire will stand.
Will fire cement over the existing plaster board lining be ok, or will I need to line with fire line board and then fire cement? Or something else entirely?
Thoughts and advice much appreciated!
