general question about g3 certification

Hello anyone,

Can you help us with this query please. We are looking for a plumber/heating engineer to install an unvented cylinder in Kent.

We have been advised that they need to be g3 registered. How do we know/check that they have this?

Any advise would be appreciated.

Will be on there gas safe card as mine is i beleive!!

Of course a registered G3 Engineer may not be Gas Safe Registered, so just ask to see his Un-vented Certificate of Competence G3

I got given an ID card when I did mine... both times...doesn't everyone?

belive so, I got one when I did mine but it doesn't show on my gas safe card! I best be looking into why that is!
