Getting A British Gas Hive Active Heating...

Hi
I have a Honeywell CM921 Thermostat fitted at the mo, Im also looking to install the Hive Heating Thermostat myself (have a bit of knowledge on electrics). Ive found that the Honeywell Thermostat doesnt have a Common wire. But the Hive thermostat does.

Do i necessarily need to install a common wire if i havent got one running from my boiler?

I have an Ideal combi 30 Bolier.

Yes it does - terminal A.
