Just tiled my new floor. Supposed to be brown grout but it looks really light gray. I was wondering if there is a sealer I could apply which would in effect would darken it again (it looks a nice colour if I wet the grout) ie a "wet look".

Or maybe the gray is the cement in the mix, which will darken a bit in time...?

when mixing grout you have to get the ratio water/powder correct.
also how did you mix it ..

by hand...sometimes by hand if you dont mix to the right consitacy(bad seppling ere)..the polymers in the grout arent broken up properly hence shading.

by mixing paddle..
if you mix to fast, over 3000rpm then you risk the proballity of air getting into the mix, which will also cause problems.
