Hi All,

I’ve recently moved in to a new flat with double height ceilings 3 of the walls have enormous curtains (about 5 meters tall & 4 meters wide each) that can be opened & closed with a remote controlled electric motor. I’m quite keen to get rid of all of them, but I was wondering if I would be better off throwing them away or if there is any scope for me to sell them to someone who might put them to better use. There is at least 80-90 square meters of thick fabric & it has worn with age, but it is still presentable. I have no idea as to whether it is worth anything at all. Any thoughts or advice?

Cheers

Try the local amateur theatre wardrobe department. Apparently ornate curtains can be ideal fabric for historical costumes

Or try your local freegle group where someone will come and take them away from you and reuse them.

Google "curtain exchange" there are several companies who specialise in second hand curtains

Thank you all for your replies.

Tigercubrider, thanks for that... It is the best solution.
