Gewiss box with clear lid

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a gewiss box which has a clear lid, I've seen them used but cant find them anywhere. I've tried a google search and looked at all the usual online sites (TLC etc...) to no avail.

I want to put a frost heater in an outbuilding controlled by a frost stat, i want the box to put the stat in and want one with a clear lid so i can easily see what its set to and if its activated the heater.

If anyone can point me in the direction of where to find one id be very grateful.

Plastic boxes have good thermal insulation properties.
Why can't the frost stat be mounted directly?

Hi Garymo,

I wanted to put it in a box as i cant find a frost stat suitable for outside use and the outbuilding can get quite damp in very cold weather. If you or anyone can suggest a decent outdoor frost stat that would be fine.

Not searched, but could you get a din-rail mounted frost stat & fit it in a din-rail enclosure with a see-through hinged lid?
