If you're a woman employed in television and these things happen, you face the prospect of never working in the industry again if you complain, or just sucking it up, and moving on. They are not waiting until someone is brave enough to come forward and share their experience, but when or if it does happen they feel able to share theirs. Women are as likely to do this to protect other women from similar things happening, as they are to get justice for themselves.
