It is very difficult to know what to do. What is British or English attire. It's a bit easier for those with Scottish heritage because they can wear some tartan. But do us English actually have anything. Having said that, this was most likely a stunt. The speech especially.
Why do you think it’s a stunt?

Anyone in their right mind would not think a Union Jack dress was traditional English dress but it makes a good story does'nt it.

What is traditional English dress then?

It seems the inclusion day had the result of excluding people.

Morris dancing outfit
Don't think that will go down well either

Stop being so boring

Because you say so. Stop reading it.
I'm not offended. Stop PERVERTing the thread was a light hearted joke about your mutual interest in the entertainment value of suspenders and stockings. I'm not actually suggesting you are perverts. Please don't cancel, the right wing are supposed to favour free speech.

I don't know but it's definitely not that dress and yes that seems to have been the result, on the face of it anyway, it seems the parents set the kid up for a fall.

I wonder if the same would have happened if she dressed in the colours of the Palestine ?

So you can see the flaw in the plan?

A day celebrating different cultures where students dress in traditional dress and nobody thought to ask, what will the English wear?

Oh for sure, the school has done an ill thought out thing, however her parents were clearly not in their right mind.

Anyone who has ever done training on this. Knows that inclusion is not “treating everyone the same”. They should have adapted the idea to ensure that everyone can participate.
