hi

Can you help, have a southfacing house that bakes the window putty in summer and has the wind & rain in winter, the results are that I have to replace the putty approx every 2/3 years. Is there an alternative product that withstands the conditions better like a silicone or is there anything I can do to make the job less frequent?
the windows are the small Georgian style so there is not a big depth of putty so I assume this doesn't help

Thanks

Tried a glazing merchant?
You say you replace putty after 2/3 yrs.. Do you make sure you prime the rebate where the putty goes beforehand? Then leave for at least 8 days before painting..
