Not surprising with thousands of scientists, politicians and journalists flying round the world to conferences.
 
I agree this issue must be addressed by everyone but......

I think the best way to answer the ones who shout the loudest and tell us what we need to do is for us to shout back......... "PRACTISE WHAT YOU PREACH AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE"

Time for action. New month resolutions if you will.

No more driving to the corner shop
No more driving to the chippy/chinese/anywhere within 1 mile
Show all the staff at work how to turn the shop lights off at night
If theres a light on needlessly, turn it off
Erect a washing line in the garden

And we will all live happily ever after . . . Yeah right. 6bn in the world, what difference am i making? :(
 
As far as people in the UK doing anything effective (as we are told we should) it's insignificant on a global scale, and talked up by the government in order to be able to slap taxes on anything they can. There is 17.5% VAT on loft insulation!!!!! JOKE..........not.
