Hi, I have read up on this forum and would like someone to please confirm whether I have understood how to correctly repressurise a Glow Worm 24ci boiler.

The boiler stopped giving hot water last night, it now shows 0.6 bar and the flashing red light:

Out of these next two photos, is it correct that the "filling loop" is the silver braided stainless steel pipe with a black valve handle (and not the blue, round knob in the second photo)?

If I understand correctly, then I will need to:
1) turn off the boiler
2) open the black valve at the filling loop, so it's in line with the pipe
3) wait for the pressure to reach 1.0 to 1.5 bars
4) close the black valve so it's across the pipe
5) turn the boiler back on

Can someone please confirm?

For step 1 with the power, does the boiler have to be switched off entirely at the mains, or is the I/O on/off switch on the boiler itself sufficient?

Very grateful for advice and information here, thank you in advance.

Thanks very much. It worked but, the pressure dropped by 0.1 every minute or so, almost immediately - back to 0.8 now. Landlord going to call Gas Safe
