I have a 2 year old glow worm 24ci combi boiler
The fault is loss of pressure on the display,It goes right down to 0.0bar!
once it is re pressurised the heating will work fine for hours!
If a hot tap is opened the pressure can fall straight away until the water goes cold and the boiler displays loss of pressure.
I should metion that water is being discharged from the prv valve.
I have replaced the prv valve and the fault remains!
Glow worm tell me it could be a faulty prv valve or a faulty pressure sensor!
Is it possible the pressure sensor is to blame?Giving a wrong reading for example? and then by filling the boiler to a reading of 1 bar it could really be a higher value! and this is what is causing the prv valve to discharge?
Please if somebody can help with this one it would stop me from going completly mad! Any suggestions greatfully recieved. [/u]
