Right, before I start I'm going to say I am 17 and know absolutely nothing about plumbing and the terminology used.

We had a new boiler, the 30CXi fitted 2 weeks ago. When the bathroom installer/plumber came last week to install the bathroom he asked me how to re-pressure the system after he'd drained it to fit a new radiator. I wasn't sure so I called up the person who had installed my boiler and he was running me through it.

I did exactly as he said, open the cold water (left hand) blue tap under the boiler all the way, and opened the hot water (right hand) blue tap gradually and slowly when water started spurting (bad terminology showing itself) from inside the casing somewhere, scaulding my hands and wetting the electrics inside the boiler. I called the boiler installer up and he came out the same day, said that it was because someone had 'accidentally' turned the green tap/handle. We left the boiler off to dry off for a night and turned it back using it as normal.

Now that we are using it again, we are getting Central heating just fine, on schedule as we have it set with the thermostat type thing. But the hot water fluctuates on and off.

Any ideas at all? I've been ringing the boiler installer guy for two days with no avail. Anyone know anything?
