Hi, i have a this problem with a Betacom 30c:

The fan starts as soon as rthe boiler is switched on, from power supply, and runns continously. It doesn't work on hot water or heating.

Even if the control switch is turned to 0 the fan doesn't stop.
The front panel shows a fault on the Air pressure switch - this has been replaced with no success.

If one of the air pressure switch hozes is taken out and put back on when there is demand for hot water or heating, the flame comes on and runs for as long as there is demand for it. Once off this needs to be repeated in order to re-start the flame.

Any ideas?

That's what the engineer who came in to have a look said.
He will bring a PCB in tomorrow.

many thanks,

It probably is the PCB but it would have been wise for him to have tested the APS electrically before getting an expensive PCB.

How do you test the APS?

He has put a new one in and still no joy. Even if it would be the APS the question remains - Why is the fan running all the time?

As stated, it doesn't even stop when the boiler is switched off from it's control panel - only if the power supply is off or if unplugged from PCB.
