I have a Glow Worm boiler 100FF connected via an ACL Lifestyle Wiring Centre LWC1 to a Tempus 7 electronic programmer and separate 2-port valves for HW & CH. The boiler incorporates pump overrun contolled via a combined thermostat / pump overrun.
My problem is that on making the power supply to the boiler the pump runs and the boiler lights even when the the programmer is Off for both HW & CH. After a short time the boiler extinguishes (presumably on action of the thermostat) but the pump continues to run. After 20 minutes or so, instead of the pump cutting out, the boiler re-lights - and so the cycle continues.
My Service company has so far failed to correct this expensive fault. What could be the problem? Is it: a. Inevitable; b. a wiring fault; or c. a faulty thermostat or circuit board??
Any ideas please?
