Glow Worm Boiler issue

hello,
I have a glow worm boiler at at times it comes on on its own (even in the summer) for a minute or two. The issue also happened when I have modified the wireless thermostat setting asking the boiler not to come on unless temperature goes below 5C.
Is this an issues or something that boilers do? If it is an issue, could you please give me an insight on how to fix it?

We don't know which model it is, as you haven't told us, but have a look to see if there's a hot water pre-heat switched on.

Many boilers run just the pump for a minute or two if the boiler has not been used in the previous 24 hours.

Without visiting and testing we cannot tell you why your unspecified boiler comes on if its not for the reason I have explained above.

As always a good engineer is usually the solution.
