GLOW WORM COMBI BOILER

My pressure is normally 1 Bar. Now when the central heating as been on for a while it goes up to 3 Bar. Any Ideas.
 
expansion vessel probably needs charging with air....is it a swiftflow?
 
It could well be they are awkward at the best of times. You may well be lucky and need to repressurize rather than replace. Before getting into all that though drain off some water through a rad bleed valve or something and drop the pressure to 0.5 bar then see how high it gets when your heatings on.
