Does anyone know the kwh for the glow-worm flickerflame gas fire?

And is there a database of kwh for older fires?

Hope someone can help me out.

Many thanks

Graham

Is there no data plate on it?

A fire with no data plate can be categorised as at risk and capped off.

Its a long time since I heard a flicker flame fire mentioned never mind seen one. Its possible that this is so old that it pre-dates data plates!

Glowworm Flickerflame G.C. No. 32 314 23.

Presumably has more than a single heat output as my book gives it as 2.1-5.1kW.

G.C. Number 32 314 23
My book quotes the output as 3.36kW (11465 Btu/h)

Does anyone know where I can get the sheathing for the wiring leading to the piezoelectric spark maker? The wonderful British Gas service engineer kindly lost it for us and it now arcs and does not light the gas. My heating engineer has tried taping it but the repair does not last long.

Standard silicon sleeving, heat resistant sleeving etc as fitted to many boilers.

Standard electrical item hardly high-tec part! No doubt obtainable from Parts Centre, Maplin RS Components etc.

I have tried both Maplin and RS components to get this sheathing.
I heve been to a gas fire shoop and nobody can help due to current regulations.
The word seems to be is to get a CORGI registered enginner to come and look/fix it.
Any ideas where I moght get some as the above route is going to be expensive?
