Glow worm Swiftflow 100 burner sticking on

Hi,

We have a Swiftflow 100 boiler which really needs replacing but unfortunately funds don't allow at present

The problem is occasionally when the hot water tap is turned off the burner continues to run! If I bang on the side of the boiler the burner will go off.

The central heating is working fine but this burner issue is quite worrying.

Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like the DHW demand switch sticking on.

They are expensive and difficult even for a pro to change!

£40 on Ebay and a bit of dismantling and jobs a goodun. Easy.
