Glow worm Swiftflow 100 - fan running constantly

Hi All

The fan on the boiler runs constantly, have to switch it off at the spur to stop it. Boiler won't light but pilot lights fine.

Any pointers

Fan is supposed to run constantly.
It has a pilot light so is clearing the gases from this.

How many boilers have you got?

It should only run at a reduced speed though ( if the correct fan has been fitted ).

boiler won't light for other reasons fan runs constant if it's a pemanet pilot, switching it off at the main switch only runs the risk of smothering the pilot,

get an rgi to find your fault!!!

Sorry should have said, runs at top speed constantly, even when there is no demand for DHW or CH.
